Time Saver did mine last week. Very happy with the results. Went with the 7 year coating/warranty. Received 100% exterior coating including running boards, and complete interior. You can see the video on their Facebook page.

Did they make you get a complete paint job beforehand?

No, why would they? My truck was new.

what level of paint correction did you have done? any interior work? every place I've priced has been in that $1700-$2000 when comparing with similar levels of prep work

4-6 hours as I recall. If you need extensive correction obviously the price would be higher.

they may tell you that, but that's not the case. it's impossible for the coating to last a life time. there are plenty of videos on youtube of guys testing the coatings over time. Ceramic Pro is also an inferior coating to Opticoat and GTechniq

BR detailing has the high end stuff, but I drive an F150, so.....

You're correct the coatings don't last forever. The lifetime warranty requires you to get the coating "serviced" once a year, which includes them clay barring the coating and adding another layer of the "lite" ceramic coating annually. I think it was about $250 for that.

concerning love bug removal - take a dryer sheet and wet it. then rub on love bug carcasses. they will come right off and is gentle on paint.
we do this all the time on the front of our motorhome when it gets covered. also headlights and chrome

Seems like something to do right when you buy a new car so little prep work is needed.

Do dealerships offer it?

nanoceramic coating on their vehicle?

If I had a brand new vehicle I would consider it. My buddy just had it done to his car and he cant stop talking about it. It looks awesome!

Just clay bar your vehicle and use the new mcguires spray on ceramic coating

Or Adams ceramic.

TimeSaver also does not require annual or bi-annual maintenance to maintain warranty. He does carry a product called D&S Wet/Dry Surface Synthetic Sealant. It is made by Clear Finish Products. He recommends using the product 2x a year to upkeep the original coating. It's a simple wipe on, buff off process.

Wet/Dry Surface Synthetic Sealant

Also important to note, get a detailed receipt of the transaction if you end up getting it done. File with your insurance for reimbursement in case of future wrench or loss claim of your vehicle.

Yeah the d&S stuff is good. I dunno why you don't just do that instead of all that money on the coating?

Works great.....after you do this, put Turtle Wax Ice spray on the entire front cap and windshield. It'll take less than 10 minutes and makes everything so much easier to get off
