Bautista threw me. Everyone else had played a vampire before. What was he in as one?

ETA I guess so.

He played Garrett the Vampire before they met the council.

The vampire baby in the Bronx was a fun dig at Interview with the Vampire.

The more episodes we get the more Lazlo is just an incompetent Lestat. Love it.

more shenanigans with the council.

I haven't seen last nights episode. I have liked the entire series so far but I think the council scene is my favorite.

Nandor: "Greetings Mortals, I Nandor the Relentless will take control of this council and rule. Relent and I will show mercy, resist and death will follow".

Councilwoman: "Thank you for your input Mr. Nandor, this is a meeting pursuant to zoning ordinances. You may want to return for one of our open meetings to discuss this".

Nandor: "Why yes, I would like that very much. When is this meeting?"

Ha Ha, I had forgotten about that. There are so many one-liners. Like when Lazlo turns into a bat and Nadja says he doesn't know where to go and before she finishes Lazlo turns back and says he doesn't know where to go.

This is another funny scene from the Council show.
Nandor: "Shhhhhhh Guillermo. You'll spook the Virgins. Your accent". AND Guillermo is a local from Staten Island.

quote:

The vampires are out of touch with the world around them, clueless to the effects their actions have, even when they have the best intentions. This is most hilariously evident when Laszlo solves the local raccoon problem.

I look forward to this show every week. Just watched last night's episode.

Cracked up at the dancing show the vampire council performed.

The cameos were absolutely amazing. Danny Trejo and Paul Reuben.

This show is great, thanks to the board or I wouldn’t have known about it

I laughed so hard at the “he’s not dead, he’s coming up through the floor” line

Another very good episode. These shows should be an hour long. 30 minutes just isn't enough.

Nandor's desire for citizenship in the nineties came when he got caught up in "Dream Team" fever. He identified with the American Olympic basketball team as it rolled over its rivals like the army of an old world war lord. He never finished the forms because he got swept away by the Macarena.

Asked what a democratic government does for its people, he answers "oppresses them." He went into the office intending to hypnotize the paper-pushers into quick approval, but finds there is no power strong enough to battle the malaise of immigration stagnation.

This culminates when Nandor is trying to recite the oath of allegiance to his new country and fire comes shooting out of his mouth on the word "god."

Jenna's bat-form is not very realistic, which is tortuously problematic and sadly silly. It has always bothered me, as it apparently does Jenna, that vampires don't lose their clothing whenever they turn into bats. Laszlo (Matt Berry) finally gives a definitive answer to how this is magically taken care of: don't get bogged down in the details.

I hope they bring Collins girlfriend back. She was a bigger energy drain than he was. Together they could do some serious damage.

I also really liked half of the episode where Lazlo got taken (in bat form) by animal control. That storyline was great. The Nadja and her centuries old reincarnated boyfriend was just okay. It was funny when Nandor stole the bat and released it and then him and Collin were pissed because they thought Lazlo was being ungrateful when he just flew away. Good thing Guillermo was there and figured out he stole the wrong bat. It was funny when the animal control lady was showing her coworker pictures of Lazlo as a bat and they were laughing that he looked like a British bat and had an erection.

Last nights episode was awesome. I love watching Jenna learn to be a Vampire. I'm getting sad that the season is almost over.
