I don’t think this Smollett saga is over yet

I think it’s only just beginning. With the presser today it’s quite clear something really really dirty went on behind the scenes that has the Chicago PD and the Mayor absolutely furious. No way in hell they shrug their shoulders and walk away. Before this is over you can bet your sweet arse the AG and Smollet family and friends will be under investigation. It’s such an egregious miscarriage of justice that Smollet and his legal team have unwittingly invited to DoJ to step in and drop the hammer.

It's pretty telling the Mayor and the Superintendent of police are PISSED. When you have Rush Limbaugh playing the Mayor of Chicago tapes on his show and agreeing with everything he said, you know something crazy is happening.

I'm surprised they didn't just try the case (poorly and unprepared) and let him walk instead. All this does is open it up to further scrutiny.
