So after chatting with my wife, she remembered that was the time of year when the kid usually gets her annual well-child visit, which under our plan, is at no co-pay cost to us. (Which is why we didn't pay a co-pay).
So I call the billing office, and I'm told that twice the claim was submitted to BCBS, twice rejected, and the third time it was accepted. Billing office is saying they submitted it to BCBS as a well-child visit but BCBS processed it as a sick-visit, and basically there is nothing else the billing office can do, that we need to take it up with BCBS.
So now I have a choice to make.
1) Do I deal with the obnoxiousness that is BCBS in order for them to hopefully fix it?
2) Or do i just pay the $25 and be done with it?
