1 thing about overthecap is that they haven't updated Meredith's pay cut yet.
6.456 mil to 4.15 mil

So it tells me they will still draft a lineman while potentially having an above average starterbfor cheap
Yeah. Works for me.
Yeah. Works for me.

$13.9 + $2.3(Meredith pay cut) - $1(Sherels estimate) - $6(Cook estimate) - $3(Brown estimate) = about $6 mil left over.
$1 mil goes to the 52nd and 53rd players when the season starts. About 500k for the rookies if we stand pat. $1-2 mil to save for in season injury replacements. About $1 mil for practice squad players.
So yeah pretty tight up on the cap. If we get Quinn we may have to adjust something (depending on how much Miami eats in a trade), though we could always adjust for some of these things later instead of now (4 of them don't need to be accounted for until the season starts and rookies not until May).

The Bills just released RB Chris Ivory. Not sure if he has anything left in the tank, but he should be cheap.

Not really (as for having anything left). His body is done. He's had about 115 carries each of the last 3 years with a declining ypc (3.8, 3.4, 3.3) and rushing TDs of 3, 1, and 1.
So not even a hammering goalline back. After his last year with the Jets he was pratically done. He's done done now.

I still don’t get Unger not wanting to go all in one more year for another ring.

I'm sure Unger wants to, but his body doesn't.

Yeah he basically said he needs another surgery that would put him out all offseason, and last time that happened it took too long to get into shape in season.
