LSU fans are relentless. They come after you from all corners and never give up.. Baws going to the Sweet 16, LSU gymnastics 3-Peated as SEC champs, and the LSU fanbase is bringing the mouthpiece of College Basketball to his knees. Today was a good day fellow LSU baws and gals.

This really sucks overall.
Nobody wanted to hate Dick Vitale, he's a fricking icon. You want him calling your games, because if he is, that means you're doing great.
But he brought this on himself, and he really should have known better.
This isn't a book or a movie, and Will Wade isn't some random generic villain. He is (was) the head coach of LSU basketball, and for a few months he brought us to levels even we didn't dream of. We hoped for 20+ wins and an NCAA berth, he delivered an SEC title when the league was as strong as it's ever been. No scandal or suspension and we'd probably be eager to face Duke and see what we can do.
And Vitale fricking crucified him, on a few written words from a wiretap nobody has even heard yet. Led the push to get him fired, like he was the guy on trial, not like he's some guy who might be called as a witness. Vitale basically took a big shite on this team and fanbase, while continuing to knight for Pitino, one of the dirtiest guys in the business... and Zion, who's openly whored himself out to the highest bidder. Which we all know, don't act like these guys are clean.
How could he NOT see the backlash coming?
