So, it hasn't been brought to a vote in the House, and it won't be, so how would the Senate even get the bill before it in order to vote on it?
I'm unclear on this. Can anyone shine a light on this?

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday that the Senate would vote on the Green New Deal introduced last week by Sen. Edward Markey, D-Mass., and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.
"I've noted with great interest the Green New Deal, and we're going to be voting on that in the Senate to give everybody an opportunity to go on record," McConnell told reporters.
Apparently the Majority Leader can present proposals for vote.
By the way, AOC welcomed the vote initially. Looks like someone had to teach her that a vote would expose fellow democrats and now she has changed her position. Lol

Doesn't answer my question. How can the Senate vote on a House Bill that hasn't been brought up for a vote?

Didn't Sen.Markey introduce it to the senate and horsemouth introduced it to the house?

Interesting. So she stupidly thought this was beneficial to have it introduced in both Chambers of Congress?
But for shicks and giggles, can a House Bill, prior to being voted on by the House be preemptively voted on by the Senate and if so, what codifies that?

That is a common strategy. If her bill is killed in a House committee, the Senate vehicle can still move.
Technically a HB has to start in the house, but they can do whatever the hell they want with rules.

But it did answer your question. Lol
A Senator introduced it to the Senate. McConnell is taking it to a vote.

I agree with her sentiment about charade votes and politians only focus is campaigning.

Apparently charade legislation > charade voting.
