An island with most of the population in favor of gun control. There are still a few million unregistered firearms in your country. None of that would work here in the United States.

We have 2 borders. One with the cartels that have have access to any firearm or weapons they want. We have gangs here that have access to any firearm they want also.
We have millions of immigrants illegally crossing the border and no telling how many are affiliated with cartels or terrorism.

Your country doesn't allow its people to own firearms for self defense which is a crock of shite but hey, as long as you have the illusion of safety. frick that. I don't think I'll ever be completely satisfied with my arsenal. I will always NEED more.

By what metric?

Homicide rate in the US has been lower than the one in AUS every year after the banning’s passage.

Also, what decline in AUS’s rate is evident was present in a decade long trend prior to the banning.
