I think someone kicked his arse (deserved no doubt) when he visited the LSU campus. I just hope the team sees every negative column about how Yale is going to upset them.

And these Tigers weren’t as good as their outright conference title would suggest in the first place.

GTFO with that weak arse BS. This is lazy journalism at its best.

Yahoo just wants more clicks on its wiretap story, so it's going to pick the upset and hope people will read why. Bunch o cucks.

They won it with offense, and their offense sustains itself on ferocious rebounding. Keep them to one shot – as Yale might just be able to do – and they’re a relatively ordinary team.

His entire premise is that if you can keep LSU off the offensive boards then they become an ordinary team. Then he suggests Yale might be able to do that.

To show you just how little these "journalist" actually attempt to breakdown the stats, Yale gives up an average of 8.2 offensive rebounds per game, ranking 159th in the country in that statistic. LSU averages 12.4 offensive rebounds per game, ranking 2nd in the country. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, suggests that Yale is capable of keeping LSU off the offensive boards.

All he said was we rely a lot on offensive rebounds (true statement) and Yale does not give up a lot of offensive rebounds (true statement).

Our offense has a tendency to go on huge dry spells, and without our head coach to make adjustments that will probably be an issue. All he said is if they keep us of the offensive boards Yale could give us trouble. It's a big if, but it isn't a lie.

ETA: The poster above me says they rank 159th in allowing offensive rebounds, I read an article earlier saying they were 24th in that same category. I could be wrong. I will research.

ETA: The poster above me listed an incorrect statistic. They are not 159th in the country. They are 40th. Sports Reference Team Stats
