LSU may be named as a defendant/conspirator in an ongoing criminal investigation in the OLOL case.
Wade is a "person of interest" (for lack of a better term) in an NCAA compliance issue that's not even a formal NCAA investigation yet.
Apples and oranges, IMO.
If it is tangentially similar it's sure not "breathtaking" in similarity.

Wade is a subpoenaed with ness in a federal trial. His inability to answer an open-ended scope of questions has nothing to do with NCAA and everything to do with an active federal criminal trial.

Wade is subpoenaed in a federal case regarding the very same topic the school wants to discuss with him. They're very similar situations.
