If this is true then AD is more clueless than I thought

it’s time we reckon with the fact that these players who never have to spend any energy on an education from middle school on need to be managed differently than players in years past.

think about it
how equipped would you be to manage your affairs if after 6th grade nobody cared or asked about your scholastic efforts? If you were not expected in any way to learn anything other than what you can do with your hands and legs?

we point and laugh at the pseudo intellectualism of a player like LeBron or Davis and we forget that they basically have the mind of a child. none of this surprises me and smart teams are going to have to become parents and teachers to these players

I think the other thing most people aren't accounting for in this situation is that LeBron is this generation's Michael Jordan. He's the guy everyone looks up to. I'm sure it's very easy for him to spin a tale that AD wants to believe, including that the fans have no right to be mad at him. He's his own CEO and he has to make decisions that are best for him.

I understand you're point but i don't think children learn nearly as much between the covers of a text book as much as they di experiencing life. I know that's how it was for me.

Not to get too off topic, but this isn't just a basketball or sports problem.
