Every day’s a gift,
We aren’t guaranteed the morning,
So savor all these moments,
The end comes without warning,
Relish every victory,
And learn from each defeat,
Spit out the bitter poison,
And drink in life so sweet,
Find the laughter, seek the light,
For even in the dark,’
There’s a chance to find your fire,
All you need is just a spark,
The storms in life are endless,
But if you refuse to fail,
You’ll make it through the tempest,
And find new wind in your sails,
So don’t resign to sinking,
Even when all Hope seems lost,
Keep steady at the helm,
As upon the waves you’re tossed,
If you sail on through the darkness,
Once again the sun will rise,
You’ll find somewhere safe haven,
Perhaps scarred, but more the wise,
And with new eyes you’ll wonder,
At the beauty of the dawn,
So make each day worth living,
And keep living ‘til you’re gone.
