There was an arch Bishop in Texas YEARS ago that had this theory: Back in the day psychologists used to say the best way for a person to be cured of pedophelia was to remain abstinent and the pedophilia would stop. This arch Bishop claims that perhaps this is why some priests joined the priesthood. Because they thought being abstinent would cure their pedophilia. Obviously it didn't, these were just the psychologists thoughts years ago

Yet you still missed the issue. Its not that he took a jab at the Catholic Church or priest. He went at the normal everyday citizen that's of Catholic faith. Huge difference imo.
