My family has been involved with LSU for years and my mom gave me this ticket from one of her aunts. It is an original ticket from the 1924-25 season. Thought it was pretty awesome and I would imagine there are not many of these tickets out there.
Wanted to share with some Tiger fans because I think it is pretty cool.

That’s pretty cool. I’d frame it.

That’s awesome. Thanks for sharing

It’s a shame that King and Alleva have sullied such a cool moment for you.

It's crazy to think what college athletics have grown to over the years. You should definitely frame it, like another poster said.

That is really cool..have an upvote. I have a 1920s yearbook with my grandad's picture in it that is one of my most treasured items. Great find...do something cool with that season pass to preserve it!

1. That’s fricking awesome.
2. Looks like that one ticket gets you into every event for the year and is made of paper. Imagine today having to hang onto it for every single sporting event as drunk as a lot of people get. How many would get lost
3. Also funny to see they even then would reserve the right to revoke it should someone else use it, just like today.
I love stuff like this that has both similarities and differences between 100 years ago and what we do today.

Very cool. Maybe have a photo like this framed above the ticket, and a eteched plate at the bottom along the lines of:
“LSU Football Inagural Season
at Tiger Stadium/Death Valley
1924”

I’ll give you $100 bucks for it

She probably left at halftime

Do students have to buy tickets for all athletic events? When I was in school in the 60's entrance to all games were free with your activities card.

Would love to take that off your hands. Would you be willing to sell it? I can give you a couple of hundred. Please let me know

That is really awesome. I'd buy it if it was for sale.

Sorry, not for sale. It is framed. I have kept and collected some family tickets over the years and have some special ones of my own that I ha w frames. This one was in there along with some other random memorabilia my mom had. Old license plate cover from the 60’s, some pictures of mike III, old pictures of tiger stadium. There is some other stuff but this ticket was the coolest.
Hard to imagine in a few years this thing will be 100 years old.

I wonder if the top ticket in your picture, Tulane versus LSU November 23, 1963, was used on that day? That is the day after the Kennedy assassination. I wonder if that game was postponed?
