How is Trump supposed to reduce spending by himself? Congress controls the purse. Congress makes all decisions based on money. Executive branch is supposed to enforce it, right? Isn’t that exactly what all you leftists were spouting off about last week with the ED?
Doesn't Trump sign the budgets? Or, since we haven't had a budget in years, the CRs? So, he could veto these spending bills if he wanted to. He doesn't get off the hook.

he shut the govt down for weeks over something he could use an emergency order for, but not to freeze let alone cut spending in appropriations bills

We saw what happened with the shutdown.
Even if Trump vetoes these shite budgets, they have enough carve outs in there to guarantee veto overrides.
And when Trump refuses to sign a budget and shuts the government down, the media steps in with the propaganda about how federal workers are suffering.
I do agree Trump should veto these budgets and force congress to override.

Is he allowed to make decisions with money or is he not? If he’s not, you can shut up. If he is, then he gets his wall

I agree with you on that , he should have vetoed every budget and kept the government shutdown.
He needs to force those sorry arse Congressmen and women to override his veto.
