How much weight has he lost? Thought he played around 225 last season.

Smart. Showed up light. He needs a solid 40.

I see stats like this all the time with our guys.. we must not focus on bench at LSU.

I say no way he breaks 4.7 in the 40?

I was thinking the same thing. Guessing we go more for functional strength, flexibility, and quickness. I was surprised that someone that is a power back benched so few though.

Never mind

He had the 2nd most reps among RBs. Other schools must not focus on it either
He had the second least, not second most.

Lucky for him, he runs with his legs and not his arms

The 225 lb bench press is as much about endurance as it is strength. They should make the weight pressed change according to the position.

I definitely don't consider Brosette a "power back." He doesn't have top end speed, I'd call him more balanced than anything.

Still tho 15 reps is something you would think a non scholarship person who is in shape could hit

Bench is meaningless for skill players.

So the same as Guice last year.

Something really needs to be done about LSU’s bench pressing results! shite I’m no where a LSU football player and I can hit 225 4 sets of 10

Its pretty noteworthy that Damian Harris only did 16 reps.

Finesse back without top-end speed. Definitely not a power back.
Not a knock on him. He had a good senior year. He is what he is though. No need to sugarcoat it.
There's nothing wrong with what he is FWIW.

Ok but you also aren’t fast and athletic. Being bulky and looking like a blob doesn’t get you drafted, just because you can bench a lot of reps of 225 with alligator arms.
