the Lexus looks like a big arse Camry to me. I'll look at the Mercedes. I always thought they were the cheesy brand and BMW was building the better machines.

And before they launched the new 8 series, the 3 and 5 series could be mistaken for KIA's

The S class has been the pinnacle of luxury sedans for decades, obviously not counting the uber-expensive sedans. BMW's bread and butter is and has been building some of the best small and mid-sized sedans for drivers. The M cars often provide the best balance of chassis and power. The 7 series is good but BMW has never given it the priority that Mercedes has always given the S class.

The guy in the Lexus will laugh at you when your bimmer or Benz is in the shop. Again. The LS is absurdly reliable.
