I know it’s kind of germans but my blind arse didn’t see a topic so I figured I’d toss it out there.

Microsoft and Nintendo in bed with each other?

I’m onto you Microsoft....

And just like that you can hear Sony's arse clinch.

I have mentioned this in other threads, but like the Cylons, Microsoft has a plan

Maybe Nintendo will agree to make Zelda for Xbox One. One can dream right.

I've said it before, Microsoft is the best VG company positioned to put a game on every screen in your house....

If they go mobile, and focus on platform AND a core piece of hardware (the Xbox line), watch out. That streaming box rumor - if it competes with the Shield and streams Xbox games - would be a big play.

It is going to be a exciting battle in the next gen war.

If Microsoft and Nintendo join forces, it will be a gigantic shift. While Sony does have exclusives, they lack imagination sometimes.

It will be fun to watch the gaming board shift back. Maybe some more Stout vs. UH wars can be had.

Once again, one day we will all be playing on XLive while eating the only fast food available - Taco Bell.

Sony has nothing to worry about. Games drive the industry.

Adding some Xbox games to the Switch isn't much of an addition.

It would be interesting to say the least if a “Nintendo PlayStation” type deal actually went through instead completely botching it like they did 25-ish years ago.

What would they call it though in the 11th generation.....The N-box? The game cartridges would be shaped like letters too knowing Nintendo.

The more I hear of this, the more it sounds like Microsoft is trying to get out of the console market and create a gaming service like Steam. Maybe it’ll be Nintendo vs Sony vs another game company (SEGA hopefully ).

I wish Nintendo would hire Microsoft to run their online service.

That is an incorrect way of thinking. Sony has the best catalog, but Nintendo has the the #2. Microsoft has #3 of course.

Microsoft needs a Nintendo catalog of exclusives, Nintendo needs a streaming platform that cannot be rivaled. Boom let us make the magic.

Sony is #1, how do you fight that? You join forces.

Sony cannot match the cloud infrastructure of Microsoft. This is pure numbers and Sony does not have the resources or capital to even come close. Should Microsoft and Nintendo go full speed together it will be a major shift.

If I could have an Xbox or PC in my house that can stream AAA games and Nintendo exclusives to multiple devices and a Switch/Switch2 that is mobile and can stream and is core for Nintendo franchises, that's game over.

But they are completely different types of games, people arent going to leave Sony to go play just Nintendo and the mostly shite Microsoft games. You can enjoy both types but Nintendo will never replace Sony. Now if Microsoft steps up their game and starts putting out good exclusives, maybe.

It is all about games. It is why Microsoft is doing it.

This is a pure, "if you build it they will come" play.

In the gaming world, I would never make such bold claims. History has taught us different.
