They also buried it and moved on.

FWIW, It doesn't really make a difference to me even if it was reported by some media outlet that they're cool right now. I'm always harping on the locker room culture the FO has built recently, and I want no part of anything that risks screwing that up.

New York Giants cornerback Eli Applehas received a clean slate from the team's new regime. He's also been given a reprieve from teammate Landon Collins, who called Apple a "cancer" late last year.

quote:

"We talked. Definitely we talked. We've definitely buried the hatchet a while ago," Collins said on a conference call with reporters. "That's my guy, my brother. I'm always going to have his back. We knew what kind of caliber player he is. He knows what kind of caliber player I am. We're just trying to get to work and make this season go."

quote:

"I'm glad to see him back," Collins said. "He's a great corner. He's very smart. I love that he comes up and lays the boom on guys and he's a great coverage guy. We need him. We're glad to have him back."
