Who plays Andre the Giant?
Feel like the Big show could do it. Don’t think Andre would take much acting skill.
If you wanna go with an actor, Cameron Britton is a massive human being and seems to be a rising actor

I hope they get this right

He’s like 6’5”. They could always use Conan Stephens, Ian Whyte or Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson.

That’s a giant in holly wood standards

Harþór would have to get over his Bell’s palsy first

Yeah, he doesn't seem that tall or big. I looked it up and they say he is about 220, playing Thor. Hogan goes 6'7 and weighs over 300 lbs, but he wasn't totally cut up. He can probably add about 30lbs and be fine. Going to need some small actors to make him seem bigger. Hogan was known for being huge..

John Desantis is 6'9 and played Lurch in the past on The New Addams family (terrible show btw ). The guy who has played Chewy in the lastest Star Wars films (Joonas Suotamo) is like right at 7 foot though he'd have to gain a ton of weight to pull it off.
I'll be interested to see what other wrestlers and personalities they try to incorporate. I'm casting a vote now for either Martin Sheen or Michael Douglas to play Classy Freddie Blassie, Hogan's manager during his 1st run with the WWF. Having Mr. T, Vince McMahon, Randy Savage, etc portrayed would be pretty cool.

He’s probably not that big. Wrestling companies always lie about that stuff

Hulk is every bit of 6’7”. Massive individual, seeing him in person blew my mind

Hair of a Chinese man, skin of a hot dog.

They going to show him getting his leg broken by one of the Florida office’s shooters (Hiro Matsuda?) when he did his initial tryout?

6’7” is probably inflating the totals by about 3-4” but Hogan has always been big and muscular.
Andre wasn’t 7’, though. Tall and big but not quite that tall, at least by the mid 80s.
That is him, Arnold, and Wilt Chamberlain from the set of Conan The Destroyer.

Chamberlain was over 7'1 barefoot. Andre is about the same height, if he stood straight, with his head up. If he isn't 7 foot, he is really close..

Most actors aren't big. Won't be hard to find some 5'8" muscular guys in Hollywood to play 6'0" wrestlers.

Kind of depended on WHEN you measured Andre.
He shrunk as he got older due to a combination of problems from his acromegaly.
That picture was from probably 1983, since the Conan sequel was released in 1984.
The famous Hogan-Andre match was in 1987 and that came after Andre needed major back surgery to cut down on his pain.

I'm wondering where the movie will end. I think anything after his Hall of Fame induction in 2005 is really not noteworthy in relation to his wrestling career. His run in TNA wasn't that great and his personal life the last few years won't be in the film according to the report. I think the Hall of Fame induction would be a great place for the movie to end.

sources say it will focus on his rise and is described as an origin story of the Hulkster and Hulkamania.
I'd imagine it stops even before he goes to WCW

Movie will open backstage with him reflecting on his whole life to that point
Middle of the way thru the movie we get a dark period
