I thought it was overrated from the start. Silva was a good villain, but it’s just convoluted. Spectre made it worse since somehow Silva is connected with Blofeld.... How?! Silva was a mad dog that was clear in his intentions and only had about 5 guys working for him. If anything, Blofeld would have had Silva killed for blowing up MI6.

I agree with that. It's best to ignore Spectre after the awesome opening scene in Mexico.
