Yeah. She's a hypocrite but my studio in DC 10+ years ago was something along the lines of 2200 a month. I just don't think you get much mileage out of this considering living anywhere decent is going to be expensive.

$2k for a studio in DC in a decent area of town sounds pretty damn frugal to me - saying it's "one of D.C.'s most expensive apartment buildings" is probably a stretch, if not an outright falsehood. Unless she's moving into a penthouse, she's probably saving the taxpayers some money.
Although there have been more than a few freshman congressmen that slept in their offices for the first several months, so it's not like she's walking the socialist walk
