I can't watch the video right now, but what kind of role is he expected to have next season? Does he compare to anyone on the roster currently?

Looks like a more polished Marlon Taylor.

I’m not sure of his expected role but I would say he’s better than Darryl Edwards. He has more athleticism and if he plays great hard defense that will be a plus. The player comparison would be tough to decide for me

No one on current roster really.

Before the last few weeks or so, I'd say he's a pretty athletic raw offensive but good defensive long guard. In the last month though he's started to go off from 3 a bit more, that was his biggest weakness in his game. He only takes 3 3's a game (12+ shots total a game), but is now a 36.6% 3 point shooter where as previously he sat around more 30%-ish. His scoring definitely still comes around the rim, a lot. He's a 55% 2 point player which is good. He uses his length and athleticism to his advantage. He's not a PG (80 assists to 79 turnovers in 24 games) but can find guys.

If you HAD to pick a guy on current roster, think a slim Marlon Taylor with a bit less hops (still a good athlete, but no one is on Taylor's level honestly) who is more basketball savvy/understands game more. Taylor is more a shooter than Manning is, but in the last 6 games Manning has just turned it on from 3: he's 13 for 25 for 52%. So again, he's not shooting it a ton from 3, but has been very efficient recently which is nice. He's a better ball handler than Taylor, which isn't saying much as they basically dont want Taylor ever taking more than 2 dribbles probably.

IMO I thought at first it was a decent pickup, I'd like a guy like this to be more a 3 point threat than he originally was but he's really grown into that part of his game so I like the pickup a lot more now.

He's averaging 17 points, 5.3 boards a game right now with a shooting line of 50/36.6/70.8
