Theory = idea that just hasn’t yet been proven wrong.

Sad more people don’t understand this most basic principle.

Fascinating link. But...within the human lineage, I find it incredible that the early ancestors were small-brained austrolopithecines that within a fairly short time gave rise to Homo and eventually modern humans capable of designing computer software and discussing all this on political forums!

Are you suggesting theories do not change and cannot be modified because that’s what it sounds like you age suggesting. And being rather insulting as you do so.

Same principles for evaluation apply correct?

Why do you care about this??

no i'm suggesting that the definition you laid down for "theory" tells us in no uncertain terms you don't really grasp the concept

here's that notion of yours again:
Theory = idea that just hasn’t yet been proven wrong.

Yes, you are.

I'm clearly laughing at the second part of what I quoted.

It is sad when science is not based on fact. "Consensus" means nothing, if the facts are unable to support the theory.

Just look at your hand. The fingers are not all the same length? Why? Each finger is composed of multiple bones. Why not one?
No way something could "mutate" or by chance just grow by its self into a human. No science has ever proven either of these are possible, much less show it has actually happened.
