I’m asking how do you think it effected our play calling?
When the defense is able to get pressure on a QB without blitzing it limits you offensively...are you really questioning that?

You’re answering a different question. I get Pass blocking makes it harder to pass.
If we wanted to go 4 wr and spread bama we weren't able to bc they were not being blocked at all. We started off the bama game more spread than when we finished bc of pass protection. He was getting pressured or hit on almost every play.
Maybe you should ask an OC if blocking is important when calling plays.

You are just figuring out this about Sammy? He is in the mold of Rick and 1988.
Nah, Sammy is pretty young but is a lot more intelligent than those two. Ricky just repeats the same old shite over and over. Look through his post history if you have the stomach. Rick is really a simpleton
Sammy just likes to argue. You gotta get to a point of ignoring him because it will never end.

Go watch the Alabama game again. We’re were in 11 way more than I realized.

We ran read option and a few RPO's last season.
We ran what looked to be a read option and a few RPOS, but was really predetermined runs and playaction passes.
If Burrow was running the read option he would have kept the ball a whole lot more and if those were RPOs we would have handed the ball off a whole lot more. They were playaction passes that looked like RPOs but were really predetermined.

We ran a few but no where near enoug RPOs
We ran a smattering of ROs but less than people think because any zone give, Burrow faked a run. You can see we aren’t releasing a read man on a lot of these plays. It’s just a straight up give, Joe is faking a run on.

I do love to argue
but I never Come to the table empty handed and ignore actual arguments.
Some of y’all Pumpers are more than willing to just say your opinion over and over no matter the evidence you’re wrong or if that opinion is even relevant.

You are arguing that line play doesn't impact playcalling b/c we passed 35x against bama...that is retarded. You do realize there is more to playcalling then a run play or pass play right?
