The RB from IMG that signed in December cost Alabama 340k. That number comes directly from a sports agent ( whose firm has represented NFL HOF’ers) with no anti-Alabama axe to grind- just an observer of sports culture/business that knows. Let’s agree that all schools cheat. Are LSU bags that big ? Does LSU relocate entire families? Set up bagmen in little towns to do their bidding? Provide jobs for family members? You guys understand that Bama cheats on another scale completely, right ?
Listen, I understand that some fans don’t want to be whiny or make excuses and I appreciate that. But they should Know what they are defending. Bama has been and remains on a completely different level. And they are protected at the highest level.

LSU paid almost the same for #7 don’t be naive and think LSU isn’t or wasn’t doing it too.

I had heard the same thing, although I wouldn't go so far as to say my source was credible (not discounting your source).
The fact that we both heard the same figure makes me think it may be accurate.

We paid for Raydar because we thought it would get us an in for Nakobe Dean, but Georgia and I quote “backed up the brinks truck.” Just the way it goes sometimes. Sometimes other teams beat you to the punch.
