Site that broke the Northam story now reporting a professor is accusing fairfax of assault

Her twitter account is linked in the article, she appears to be a big time liberal.
BLP was known as fake news before the Northam story, we will see how this pans out.
If it ends up being credible, you'd have a scenario where the guy who would replace Northam is getting accused of sexual assault

I'll apply the Kavanaugh standard here. Unreported at the time, 14 years later and on the eve of a huge promotion this comes out. Color me skeptical.
Though by the lefts Kavanaugh standard the accusation is enough, he should call for an investigation into himself and then resign.

Agree, can she provide some evidence such as confiding in friends or shrink or if she pressed charges? I refuse to allow myself to be influenced by these type of accusations without some sort of proof of misbehavior and that’s way more important than R or D by their name.

Looks to me that Northam is pulling a Sanford and refusing to go into the night. The Dems have nothing they can offer him for falling on his sword.
2 Options
1) Impeach Northam but there is absolutely nothing illegal in what he did and impeachment strictly speaking is a political maneuver above all else. In other words, there doesn’t have to be a crime to impeach. Still, to impeach for something 35 years ago before Northam entered public life seems bizarre. (Word is Republicans have no desire to impeach)
2) Recall - What I’ve read is that this is a messy drawn out process. It’s not the preferred path because Northam remains in the meantime. However, this seems like the preferred path for Republicans looking to stall the Democrats agenda by allowing Northam to flounder.
*** Above was the calculation before the Fairfax developments came to light tonight. Democrats May have to keep Northam in the Governors mansion for the foreseeable future. Don’t think that can’t have an impact on the National politics going into 2020.

But every single one of these politicians not only placated #metoo but even championed it because it was a tool to get their political adversaries. Now it’s starting to consume them as well. It will take a lot of doing, and a lot of innocent men taken down, before Pandora’s box can be resealed.

Seems to follow the exact script of the Kavanagh thing so color me skeptical.
A few things make this seem more credible than Blasey Ford but we’ll see. At the very least it will be interesting to see how the left treated this woman.
