Does anybody know if LSU will be selling tickets to the general public for this game? or just season ticket holders?

I think season ticket holders who aren’t highly ranked won’t have a chance. General public doesn’t have a chance through LSU.

Last week, United had round trip for $134 from MSY. Basic Enonomy fare but for 3 days, a backpack is fine.

Generally speaking, LSU receives/gives 5000 or so tickets for SEC games...I would expect we would receive a like amount from Texas and given the probable 'interest' in this match up, I would highly doubt ANY tickets would be offered to any people who were NOT season ticket holders...in fact, you could prob. count on that !

LSU only gets 3800 tickets which will be gobbled up by students, band, and the highest donors

uT will only sell tickets to our game as part of a season ticket package. Ticket City based in Austin says the LSU game will go for 300 to 350 each in the lower north end zone under our band and 3500 or so fans

This is the standard number of tickets given to visitors as mandated by the Big XII. I'm sure that more LSU fans will find their way into the stadium, but they'll be scattered all over.

LSU will only receive 3,000 guest tickets for the UT game. The is the standard practice for Big 12 opponents (under the Big 12 Ticket Policy, visitor seats were reduced from 4,000 tickets to 3,000 in 2017). All of these seats will be in the nosebleed sections. After player tickets and some for a small travel band, there will probably be less than 2,500 available for season ticket holders, so you will have to be in the top 1,000 rank in philanthropic points (remember, philanthropic points are used for away games, not priority points) to even think about getting 2 tickets.

I would suggest that you look on StubHub or a ticket broker. I would not count on very many fans getting tickets from LSU for this game. Plan early.

By the way, LSU will return the favor when the Longhorns visit Tiger stadium in 2020 and UT will only receive 3,000 visitor tickets and those tickets will all be in the upper deck.

flying in Friday morning flying back Sunday morning. Will book an even earlier flight back Sunday morning if the Saints open the season at home at noon. Originally I had two flights booked back just in case but the interwebs tells me the Southwest system automatically cancels the flight within 48 hours if you double book.
