Well said, Woody. They dominate the comments section, but they don't represent the readership of TD.
For example:
There is a recent post titled, "Coach O is Crushing it". The negative comments exploded. Yet the Upvote/Downvote count is -
Up 497; Down 107

Imagine that
And if someone disagrees that Coach O is actually "crushing it" and says so, then that is considered to be negative to some even if the same person acknowledges that he is doing a good job.
