A week later - Message Boards and local radio are still fuming about the call. Why?

It was a total screw up. The NFL knows it. The Rams know it.
Why are there still people trying to make a case for it when it's a unanimous agreement that the Saints were hosed?
Just get over it. The sympathy period is over. No one outside of the Saints fan base gives a damn anymore. I'm tired of half drunk morons calling in and making their case for why the flag should have been thrown over a week later.
Yeah yeah, I know. I'm complaining about people complaining.. but it's time to get the hell over it and just move on. No one cares if you are watching the super bowl or not. No one cares if you are boycotting the NFL (you aren't, spoiler alert).
End rant

I'm not watching the Super Bowl. I didn't watch an ounce of the Pro Bowl.

Just get over it

I mean just frick off and don’t listen then
To think the fan base should be over it before the game is even played is pretty stupid. Not a ton of precedent for the worst no call in playoff history.

No. I just grew up. Trust me, I was there 1/9/12 walking out of the Superdome after the 21-0 loss the Alabama. I was only 21, and I was immature. I told myself I wouldn't let a football game ever impact my mood after 24 hours after that.
I guess it's different for people who only have football to look forward to

The worst "gotcha" line in message board history

Saints fans should and will always be angry about the call.
YOU need to get over that.

Maybe if the NFL/Goodell would actually come out of hiding, make a real statement, discuss compensation to the players that missed out on a significant amount of money, pledge to do better, and apologize for the biggest ref blunder in sports history...maybe it would help people move on. Instead they have basically gave all fans of the NFL the finger.
All that said, if people choose to hold on to feeling cheated, they deserve to still be angry and who are you to tell anyone how they should feel or when it is time for them to move on? How about you take your own advise and not be a message board douche.

No one is whining or complaining...the fans of the Saints as well as other football fans are having a discussion.
If you're not interested in having a discussion, turn the channel

You're right. I shouldn't tell grown men to not act like petulant children because a football game didn't go the way they wanted.
..because they should already know that

ST. PETERSBURG — Super Bowl LIIIE.
The big lie.
Super Bowl media night was Monday – all the same questions, all the same overkill. There’s no stopping this overblown week. Insert Patriots joke here.
I’ve got a bigger joke.
This illegitimate Super Bowl.
The Rams should not be playing the Patriots. The Rams should not be playing anyone.
The New Orleans Saints should be in the game. They know it, we know it. Blatant, outrageous pass interference on Rams defensive back Nickell Robey-Coleman wasn’t called. And that makes this game a joke. The NFL played 256 regular-season games, added 10 playoff games and still got it dead wrong. And I’m not saying that because my son the Saints fan slammed doors for three days. Okay, maybe a little. I like my house in one piece.

What does the attention you're getting from this rehashed retard thread do for you?

The NFL blew it. Ten days later and it still blew it. And the silence from the league and its’ commissioner is deafening. It’s the elephant in the Super buildup. I don’t particularly like listening to Saints coach Sean Payton. It’s against my better judgement. But the Saints should be in the Super Bowl. They are not.
