Do you just hate teenagers as characters? Because I know playing as a 15-16 year old is annoying for some, but just a pattern I noticed. If you don't like Disney characters either, I dunno if this is the game for you.

I can’t think of any others that I think are terrible.
I’ve played many JRPGs and those two seem to stand out.

That’s one of the big problems as well.
The characters are just “off”. They try to combine drama with insane levels of happiness and a complete lack of humor.
