It would all depend how the market plays out.

I know you guys think TITLES...their job is to sell tickets.

If he will cost X amount but they believe that making him the face of their marketing will get X plus Y dollars, then they could sign him.

The one thing they won't do is a total teardown and have a 12 win season. That scenario is off the table. Boogie is definitely on the table

Do you think since they don’t want a tear down that lower the chances of a knicks trade.

I honestly don’t think that they have to tear everything up. I see Holiday and Niko being key pieces for the next core. I think that a top 3 pick with either Tatum and Brown or Unicorn and Knox would be a great start.

I'm not against it per se. Obviously would prefer it be on a shorter deal especially with the injury concerns still being there. But if he finishes the season strong, especially in the playoffs, it becomes an interesting scenario.

A Jrue-Tatum-Hayward-Niko-Boogie lineup with some depth behind it is...intriguing.

that's interesting. i get it, obviously, from $$ perspective. same time, people who follow the team still talk about Dickau and Jarrett Jack tank years in loving terms.

they don't have to tank to engender those feelings, but they do need to find guys that fans in NO will want to root for. guys that will leave it all on the court and fans can trust care. simply drafting players again will certainly help this.

more quick fixes without any plan will ultimately send this team to Seattle
