I like where he's at. He gives Cabrera some protection.

He’s going to help protect Cabrera with how well he puts the bat on the ball. I look for Cabrera to have a nice year if that top 5 stays healthy.

He swings and misses too much for my liking to put him at 2. Watson is also a terrible baserunner and I don’t like my 2 hole giving up outs on the basepaths before my 3-4-5 guys are batting. Smith is perfect at 2. Can get on himself, has good pop, can bunt, and can handle the bat very well for those hit and runs Maineiri loves to do.
