Just a reminder that what most accept as reality is fake

Concern around NFL that 4 officials in NFC Championship Game live in Southern California
Adam Schefter
ESPN Senior Writer

In the latest twist to the still-simmering controversy from last Sunday's NFC Championship Game, there is some concern in league circles about the NFL's judgment in allowing four game officials who live in Southern California to work the game between the Los Angeles Rams and New Orleans Saints, league sources told ESPN.
Those same four officials -- all with long ties to Southern California -- were the ones most responsible for the non-call on Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman's early, helmet-to-helmet hit on Saints wide receiver Tommylee Lewis that was widely viewed as pass interference. The league admitted to the Saints that it "f---ed up the call," according to sources.
quote:
The NFL put [itself] in a bad situation," one officiating source told ESPN. "This is stuff that has to be taken care of prior to game. It's just guys not thinking of what's going on, nobody doing their checks and balances. The league is usually pretty much on top of it. This is one that slipped through the cracks."
Referee Bill Vinovich, who led the game's officiating crew, lives in Newport Beach, California. Down judge Patrick Turner, whose primary responsibility was to follow Lewis on the blown call from start to finish, lives in Lakewood, California, in Los Angeles County. Side judge Gary Cavaletto, whose job was to initially watch outside receiver Dan Arnold before shifting his focus once the ball was thrown to Lewis, lives in Santa Barbara, California. Back judge Todd Prukop, who was stationed in the end zone as an extra set of eyes on the controversial play, lives in Mission Viejo, California.
The Saints declined comment when contacted by ESPN, but others did not. "I haven't heard anybody say the game was fixed; I have heard people say the crew F'ed up," one high-level league source told ESPN. "But the optic is bad. It's a legit issue and they should have figured that out."

This is old news baw. Saints fans knew that the refs were from the LA area last Sunday, an hour after the theft.

In 10 years the Rams will be looking for another home..., the NFL isn't a product that does well in LA when the team isn't in the mix for the championship. The west coast leftists are more interested in basketball, some baseball, and the damn beach.

It was fixed. Youll never get me to believe otherwise.
Once something gets so expensive to operate, money takes over and certain things must happen the ensure the viability of person/group/game (in this case).
The money corrupted the NFL. It's not the first no last entity to have it happen to. I've suspected it in the past.
Proof.
It saddens me. It's something I can remember doing with my father as long back as I can remember. Laying on the floor at my grandmother's house with him on a Sunday after church hanging out in the mid 80s to now.
Such is life.

Ponder that.

I was assured months ago time and time again that the good people of the poli board were “done” with the NFL and that they “didn’t care” anymore and would “never watch again”. Why the fuss about this then?

Saints fans are melting every bit as hard as liberals when Trump was elected

This is and was 100X worse than the bad call on Peterson's interception against Bama.

So tired of this, the Saints lost the game two plays earlier when they threw an incomplete pass on first and goal with 1:45 left.
You crybaby losers need to quit the whining and blame the Saints staff for one of the most boneheaded play calls in NFL history.
Or go make another song or video, whatever makes you feel better.

The Saints staff didn’t make that call. They called for a run. Drew checked to a slant pass when he saw LA had 9 stacked on the line.
If after a week of almost nonstop coverage you aren’t aware of that, then you’re really not worth debating the issue with.

They should do a photo of the several after the play clock snaps they allowed Breez to get away with. I counted 3 just casually watching.

That ball looks way past the WR reach. Good no call.

Receiver was running prior to getting hit. This is a touchdown if the defender does not hit the receiver. The defender admitted it.

The National media and all people not affiliated with the Rams disagree with your assessment.

Oh, well then, the ball was tipped, anyone can see that.

Oh, will "the ball was tipped first" work?
