I just got home from texas and I plan to hit the water soon depending on fronts. Anyone catching anything on Tickfaw or Amite areas?

Might make a trip to bayou black tomorrow. Was wondering the same. The bass should be starting as well.

Just got a cenla report. Over 40, and only a handful didn't have eggs. I am so confused.

Fished lake Maurepas Sat with my nephew.
Some bass not anything to brag about.
Bowfin known as choupic all over the place spawning.
Did not try for scaliat.
Water was low mid week and tide made it rise good on Fri along with sat.
Water was dirty except in a few places where the choupic were spawning.

Sac-a-lait bite is on in spring bayou WMA big time right now. We got 62 today all on beetle spins.

The sacs ive caught lately haven’t had eggs.

They're starting to heat up in north alabama. I caught these in my kayak yesterday.

I caught a 4 Sunday. Sun came out and the fish quit.
