I think the idea is you don't want to put out a trailer and then nothing so it loses momentum or have it become routine where it doesn't really create the same level of anticipation.
Honestly even for shite I'm really excited about like Dune and Foundation - due to Covid the marketing and shite has been so extended that I am nowhere near as pumped as I was back after the initial marketing buzz. I saw the new trailer and it was awesome and then I just went back about my day because its been such a drawn out process.
I'd imagine we will see the trailer soon, they have new book releases kind of staggered coming out, etc. Hopefully it gets going soon.
Have they announced if it will be a full season drop or weekly episodes? I hope weekly as that will definitely generate more consistent buzz if the show hits.

Yes, Amazon's marketing department for new shows FIRMLY believes that you start marketing a show about 6-8 weeks out at most.
And when they market, they MARKET. Its generally a blitz for a show this size for about 6 weeks, cross promoted on all their packaging and platforms.
