I understand his point completely, any call could alter the outcome. The point that he’s missing is there was no could involved with this particular call. Considering the time left on the clock and field position, that call directly changed the outcome of the game. Throw the flag and the saints win, period. Like I said, if this happens in the second quarter then a few people bitch but it’s largely a non-story.

Soooo if the Saints score a touchdown with a 1:30 left, the Rams ABSOLUTELY COULD NOT score a touchdown to tie the game?
