1. This is a great Hall class. Congrats to those elected.
2. I never gave much of a shite about the 100% thing, but the writers caved in for a reliever? Geez...
3. Halladay is the first first-ballot entry to be dead for his induction since Christy Mathewson...which was from the first ever Hall class. Damn.
4. Tired of seeing biases screwing over a guy like Schilling. Glad Edgar got over the DH hump. Maybe a Rockie finally gets in next year?

It's a shame. Larry Walker and Todd Helton. Interesting stat was brought up today on MLB Radio. They used Ryne Sandberg as the comparison for whatever reason, OPS for his career was .796 while Todd Helton's away OPS was .855. Just a weird congratulatory pat on the back at this point and whether or not they will allow them into their special club. AlsoI think Mariano had to be the first and would have been Jeter if he had retired before Mariano. Popularity contest.
