Got to Bounce Back Next Year

That end of the season sucks. Sucks even more to lose in heart-wrenching fashion two years in a row.
Very impressed that the Saints were able to get over the Minnesota Miracle and get this far -- that's a special trait that most organizations flat out do not have.
The way I see it, the Saints have two options:
(1) Come back and win the whole thing next year
(2) Miss the playoffs entirely
Over the years, teams have come this far and either (a) made a tremendous comeback the following year or (b) fallen off the map.
Look at how the Panthers have done since losing to the Broncos. Look at how the Falcons have done since losing to the Patriots. Humiliating losses (in different ways) and they haven't sniffed relevancy since.
You've seen from other teams over the years (Bills who went to 4 straight super bowls after losing heart wrenching fashion in each of them) and the Patriots who seem to bounce back to the Super Bowl regardless of a win or loss.
Let's be those Bills or lets be these Patriots next year. Get some rest, hit the offseason hard, and lets win our second title.
Time to sack up.

There’s no coming back from this
Especially the last 2 years, NFL got what they want it just won’t happen
As a fan I’m burnt out honestly can’t see myself getting exited for this bullshite WWF league again

Nope.. not falling for it again. How well you build your team and how well you execute are only about half of the equation when the league can fail you so miserably like yesterday.
I love the Saints but unless they are playing under a different shield then I'm not investing my time or money in them anymore.

Yes, without adding a challenge flag to coach's arsenal to challenge flags/no calls then the NFL deserves to lose viewership. This would at least be a solid step towards removing cheating from the game.
ETA they changed the OT rules after the Saints NFCCG in 2010. Maybe we can get them to change penalty rules to add a challenge now after this one.

Enjoy. But I’m out. Don’t need the aggravation.

We’ll be back. No question in my mind. Brees isn’t going to rest until he can leave on his own terms.
The defense can be even better, and getting the OL healthy and a TE and WR2 for Brees will make all the difference.

Honestly, I feel like this may be the end of the Payton/Brees era. I don’t know how it’s possible to recover after what has happened to us 2 years in a row now

Next year? I mean maybe some kids can get into it but I'm not sure how any rational thinking adult could ever watch this shite league again.

Yes next year. Like I worry that this same team won’t be able to have success anymore just because of what happened the last 2 years

Unless you’ve got Roger Goodell in the Death Pool for 2019, that ain’t happening.

Atlanta beat the Rams in the divisional round last year in L.A.

This was 'next year.' It's over.
