The longer he lets this shutdown go on means he has multiple opportunities to portray himself & Republicans as ‘compromisers willing to reach across the aisle’. (See the GOP proposal to pay furloughed workers)

Conversely, he has more time to let democrats be petulant and refuse to ‘come to the table’. (See dems shootdown of the aforementioned GOP proposal)

It’s genius if you think about it. I initially thought it was political suicide, but now I realize it’s political murder.

Trump couldn't figure out chess if he tried.

LoL

You sound scared, that he will stick to the plan, and get the wall built. He's kinda holding out a bit too long for this to be political theater, right?

Or are you just clueless as usual?

Why would I be scared of a wall?

Wrong. Everything is political theater.

Don't take my word for it, listen to former Governor Jesse Ventura. "It's show business."

People continuing to think he is some sort of genius laying traps for the dems is hilarious..

He was goaded into the shutdown by people like Limbaugh with no pre-thought out end game. He seems to actually think the dems would cave and is surprised they haven't.

There isn't a plan.. or at least I hope to God the plan wasn't to tweet insults daily until the dems cave or burn down the nation otherwise...

Wow! First, you do recognize that Ventura made a living playing pretend, right? How would he recognize anything other than as a show? And a person who wouldn't even run for re-election, because he couldn't fit in the real world.

Also, using him as an example of a politician is a bit sketchy, because Minn also elected an another actor to be a US Senator. Who ended up having to resign because he too couldn't differentiate between reality and show business. Minn elections aren't a great example of serious politics.

Try again.

Wow. So these people who thought they would go in and make a difference, but got the frick out when they found out what a filthy cesspool it really is, those are the people you criticize?

You must get wood every time you think of establishment filth like Bolton and Giuliani, amirite?
