Good call.
I've seen fights break out over artificial noisemakers (in one case a modified trumpet that was so loud it was hurting the ears of the people seated in front of the guy who had the trumpet).
Some guy from a few rows down asked the dude to give it a break in the 4th quarter with the Saints comfortably ahead, and trumpet guy threw his beer at the dude and slapped him unprovoked. The whole section had had it with the trumpet, and the guy and his friend had to flee to avoid getting thrown out (or worse if other fans decided to get involved.)

Bring spare change, my tradition is to slam a 25oz beer early in the first quarter then load it up with a ton of pennies and a couple nickels. Very effective and easy combo with the whistle.
Why wait to finish it after the game starts? Finish one pregame and shake from opening kickoff!

Haha wow, I'll reiterate that common sense is essential when using whistles

They were taking calls on 105.3 and some of the callers this moring were talking about makeshift noisemakers

Since its playoffs, I'm stretching my noise making target and have bought 5 dozen plastic whistles that I will be handing out in champion square and in my section as well.

There are plenty of air horn apps in the App Store. They cant single out a person if everyone has them
I feel like this should be a front page headline in the paper and on channel 4 news. Turn this into THE story going into the game. Have our crowd give the nfl something it’s never seen.

Can an app on a phone make more noise than yelling?

Yelling while holding the Siren App is better than just yelling alone.

"Posting garbage opinions since 2009" I see you're keeping the streak alive...
You're statement is false, its very loud and carries, also my season tickets are 18 rows from the field on the visitors side. If you think its trashy then bring some ear plugs, its the NFCCG not the masters. The options I mentioned are much more efficient and louder than yelling, but to each his own.

Can we GoFundMe to hire some of the homeless people on Claiborne to meet the Rams at the airport and just follow them from baggage to the bus to their hotel to the Dome just yelling and screaming, banging sticks and making noise nonstop?
I’d throw in a few bucks!

I can see the headlines now. Saints lose NFC Championship game on inadvertant whistle from the stands.

No one but the person in front of you will hear your stupid whistle. Don’t be that dude

Man seems like there's a bunch of granny ear snowflakes on this forum. Obviously your statement is completely false, you must be one of those fans that enjoys sitting watching the game and providing the occasional golf clap. If you can't handle the dome noise then bring ear plugs, and if you happen to sit in front of me you can receive one of my courtesy ear plug packs, I bring a couple every game.

I cheer all game without noise makers. Do what you want but just know everyone hates people like you
