Our practical cap space (when removing cap hold players) is $33.9 million

We've got plenty of room for Turner, plus I think when he's in a role not splitting time, $18 million / per is a value deal for next 4 years.

Our cap space will also grow next year when we dump Solo Hill's waste of space $13 million

This deal seems too good to be true, but considering they are loaded at the position I could see Turner traded for our pick, throwing #18 is bonus to me.

Turner is an elite defender, 6th in blocks, still averaging 13 ppg while splitting time, 38% from 3PT, very efficient all around and a perfect match with Zion. I think #4 straight up for Turner would be good deal for Pels. Maybe add Aaron Holiday so he can thrive with his bro.

The Holiday bros throwing up lobs to Zion and Turner... man :dude:
Like more sports board, hence posting in "more sports"
Most recent trade rumor this morning:

New Orleans boss David Griffin trying to get another first-rounder and also a player on a good contract for the No. 4 pick. Told there have been discussions between Pels No. 4 pick and Minnesota involving No. 11 and Robert Covington.

Not crazy about it but doesn't seem like Wolves fans are either. Covington to me is in that like "mediocre starter / good bench" gray area, I'd rather go with Hunter, I think Hunter can be that his rookie season with the upside in the future to be special.

If we stay at #4 I hope we take either Hunter or Garland.
I like Culver too but Hunter really out shined him the championship game and can make an immediate impact.

Thoughts?
Sounds like we gotta butthurt Carolina Panthers fan on here

Dez wants to come back as per Jane Slater local DFW radio interview, his twitter suggests the same

I'm all for it, I think he's got a couple solid seasons left in the tank as a compliment to MT13. Sign him to a similar 1 yr deal like last year.
Man when he called off that screen...
Literally go frick yourself and then kill yourself. NFL games are decided down to the wire, when you call the perfect play to end the game and go to the superblwl and a dipshit lost CB spears your player on a blatant PI and the snowflake bitch boy LA ref doesn’t call it called blatant cheating and the demise of this sport. frick you and your bullshite

No one but the person in front of you will hear your stupid whistle. Don’t be that dude

Man seems like there's a bunch of granny ear snowflakes on this forum. Obviously your statement is completely false, you must be one of those fans that enjoys sitting watching the game and providing the occasional golf clap. If you can't handle the dome noise then bring ear plugs, and if you happen to sit in front of me you can receive one of my courtesy ear plug packs, I bring a couple every game.

The only people who'll be able to hear this shite forty rows up the terrace are the fans in front of you, and everyone will hate you. Very annoying and trashy, and yelling would be louder anyways

"Posting garbage opinions since 2009" I see you're keeping the streak alive...

You're statement is false, its very loud and carries, also my season tickets are 18 rows from the field on the visitors side. If you think its trashy then bring some ear plugs, its the NFCCG not the masters. The options I mentioned are much more efficient and louder than yelling, but to each his own.

Good call. I've seen fights break out over artificial noisemakers (in one case a modified trumpet that was so loud it was hurting the ears of the people seated in front of the guy who had the trumpet). Some guy from a few rows down asked the dude to give it a break in the 4th quarter with the Saints comfortably ahead, and trumpet guy threw his beer at the dude and slapped him unprovoked. The whole section had had it with the trumpet, and the guy and his friend had to flee to avoid getting thrown out (or worse if other fans decided to get involved.)

Haha wow, I'll reiterate that common sense is essential when using whistles
Rams say Superdome noise overrated

quote:

“Spending some time with some Rams players, (they said) the noise didn’t bother them the first time around,” said Silver. “This is a direct taunt to the fans of New Orleans. They thought the noise wasn’t as bad as advertised. They operated fine.” Why the Rams players would let this news get out is puzzling. Why make an already hostile environment even more hostile? One can assume the Who Dat Nation’s response to these comments would simply be: “Challenge accepted.”

To everyone attending the game Sunday, I encourage you to get as loud as possible even if that means somewhat bending the rules with some "under the radar noisemakers".

I will be in attendance, my best practices as a season ticket holder has been the following:

1) Sneak in a fully plastic body whistle, easy to get through security
- My go to noisemaker is the Hyper whistle, this thing is incredibly loud but should only be used when the crowd is roaring since you could stick easily out if you don't use common sense
- Fox40 whistle, use alot as well, not as loud but louder than you could ever yell and very efficient
- I've been doing this all season with no issues, although I do bring some courtesy ears plugs just in case someone in front of me complains

- Hyper whistle - $11 LINK
- Fox40 - $5 LINK

2) Bring spare change, my tradition is to slam a 25oz beer early in the first quarter then load it up with a ton of pennies and a couple nickels. Very effective and easy combo with the whistle.

3) Since its playoffs, I'm stretching my noise making target and have bought 5 dozen plastic whistles that I will be handing out in champion square and in my section as well.
- Dozen whistles for $4 LINK

Rams fans don't travel worth a damn this our opportunity to absolutely rock the dome and screw up Goff's ability to get guidance from his daddy McVay on every play.

Let's go! Who Dat!
