Well it’s a good thing you aren’t Payton considering you want to throw a play that was picked off.
do you think that if a play results in a turnover one time they just say "well. that's that." and pull it from the playbook?

If you've been watching Payton run that same godawful double reverse to the Wide Receiver play for 12 goddamned years for no good reason, then you know this isn't the case.

This. It was right in front of me and i said it then he did not look for the ball had he could at the very least broken up the interception. Then Brees threw a back shoulder to him in the opposite end zone later in the game and again it seemed like he simply did not attempt to locate the ball.

I was at the game so i only saw the replay a few times, but it looked to me like Ginn never looked up for the ball. It was underthrown, but if he turned around sooner he could have at least competed for it?
Maybe i'm wrong, like i said, i only saw the replay a few times on the big screen.
you are correct, ginn outran the ball and never adjusted to it so he ran beyond the trajectory of the pass.
i wont speak to why he did it if it was not looking soon enough or simply misjudged it but the ball was there to be caught and that interception was 100% on ginn lack of adjusting to the ball and not the under throw

Do you really think they wouldn’t be ready for the exact same play? I mean how dumb could you possibly be to think that the rams will not be saying watch out for this bomb like they threw last week because their guy was open.

First two plays from the last game. Let's do that again and we will be okay.

Don't agree w/ the same call---think that bridge is now burned---but definitely agree with going right at Peters.
Get in that dude's head early, get him off his game mentally.

The “run the ball” crowd that acts as if it’s some magical ritual that automatically results in offensive success is stuck in fricking 1980.
Sure, if the run game is averaging 4-5 yards a pop then keep pounding it. And yeah you have to run enough to make them respect it. But if you’re getting 1-3 yards continuously on first down runs it’s fricking suicide to keep doing it. Every advanced statistic says so. Your eyes should tell you so.

I disagree, that's a touchdown if Brees throws it out front where he can run to it. Ginn was running all out, he would have dislocated both knees attempting to come back to it.

Line up in the I, our typical first down run up the middle for a half yard gain, go play action to Mike on a deep in for 20 yards. Second play same formation sweep to Ingram for 13 yards, roll from there.
