Politics is culture. But culture is not necessarily politics. It spans far more.

The only reason this is even being brought up on a political board is because the OP is rustled by it. It doesn't line up with his cultural views and he is terrified of the shift taking place.

Culture is dictating politics right now. And it has been since the start of Obama's presidency. It has exploded since the back end of it until now. If you think otherwise, you must be living under a rock.
