Agree with this.
I think ejections are ridiculous. Ejections should be reserved for punching another player or an official, not for tackling somebody, even if it’s a rough or unnecessary hit. Penalty is fine and we can all debate what should or should not be a penalty, but ejecting a player from a game is ludicrous IMO.
If they’re adamant about keeping ejections as part of the rule, ejections should be reserved for the worst-of-the-worst kind of hits and should not be decided by officials or replay officials in the heat of the moment. It should be thoroughly reviewed after the game and then suspension handed out if warranted.
