A wall is not feasible at this time.

Trump campaigned by saying Mexico would pay for the wall. Many doubted this was true, and as it turns out trump has now shutdown the government until the US taxpayers fund the wall.
Now, He says Mexico will pay Indirectly for the wall through the new trade deal. What he fails to address is that the new trade deal has yet to be ratified by congress.
That seems very much cart before the horse , to spend money before it has even been properly allocated for through the trade deal.
Trump has not deceased the national debt , but increased it by 2 trillion dollars since he took office.
If those in favor of the wall want to set up a go fund me to foot the bill and trump is okay with seizing private land to do so, by all mean build your wall.
It is not , however fair to bash the democrats for standing up to trump for trying to use taxpayer money of which we all contribute to build a wall that we don’t not agree with. A wall which he repeatedly stated that mexico would pay for.
TLDR: mexico is in fact not indirectly paying for this wall because the new trade deal with Mexican and Canada has not even been ratified by congress. we are 2 trillion dollars more in debt than when trump took office . 5 billion dollars would be better spend on food, clean water , education and healthcare. It is absolutely practical and reasonable for democrats to hold this position as contributing taxpayers.

Thanks for starting a thread with your opinions instead of just chiming in on other threads.

Your whole post is filled with incorrect facts and assumptions so I'll just address the very first sentence.
Trump made it very clear, going all the way back to the primaries, that it would likely be funded through a new trade deal.
Now go research the rest of your accusations and come back to us with a more accurate post.

Either the wall is important or it's not. Who is paying for it is a secondary issue.
I agree Trump's promise for Mexico to pay was a poor one, and one he should abandon.
He should focus on how much the wall would ultimately save - real dollars, not some hyperbole.

I think you got your talking points word for word from the same source that fed them to little George Stephanopoulos. Its pretty obvious that MSM was locked and loaded in unison tonight. Black hats at work.

You should have thought a second or two before submitting that.

Perhaps you can educate the class how this would even be possible.
He should tax remittances if he wants Mexico to pay for it.

You mean the same Democrats that use our tax payer money to stash in their slush funds? To use on all their lying propaganda and their personal use? Really? Do alittle research and pay attention!

So you don’t want to make the United States safer because Mexico isn’t paying for it? What the heck kind of freeloader of you. Should Russia and China pay for our military? I mean honestly, what the hell kind of reasoning is this?

I'm okay with the wall being built. Nobody asked me. And, the government pisses away 5 billion dollars on other projects and no one blinks. The opposition is primarily because Trump is a pompous arse.
Build the wall and move on. Or, at least put a couple of military bases down there.

Every talking point you made is incorrect.
