One side presented a non emotional case laden with facts and statistics.
One side presented an emotional injected presentation lacking in facts and relying on personal attacks campaign rhetoric.
Which side laid out a compelling case and which side pandered to their base?

The only part I could complain about with Trump is his attempt to link the wall funding to Mexico.
IMO, he should simply abandon that strategy and just stick to why the wall is important for this country. Mexico was never going to pay for it directly, and the indirect connection is tenuous at best.

Trump had a good speech but wasn’t pandering to his voters like the democrats.

Trump should just get Mexico to pay for the wall and be done with...

They will
Far more than 5 billion dollars in remittances will stop flowing to Mexico
Why do you morons think Mexico doesnt want the wall? Because they have zero stake in it?

He's not, and you know that.
Why don't you tell me how Mexico is paying for the Wall via the trade deal?

Just the ghoulish and somewhat scary physical appearance of Pelosi and Schumer alone was enough of a strike against them.

THis has been talked about ad nauseum on here baw. I'm not getting into it again.
USMCA and all of the other jobs that have been, are being, and will be saved from going to Mexico. The remittances that will be prevented from being sent to Mexico from those that won't be able to get in. Yada, Yada, Yada.
You goobs that expected Mexico to hand Trump a check are insanely naive. No one with a working brain thought that was going to happen.

So US workers will be more prosperous, thereby paying more taxes, and you're trying to argue that's Mexico paying for it?
This absurdity is why the Mexico paying for it bit needs to just go away. Trump needs to let it go. The wall is worthwhile regardless of who's paying for it. Talking about who's paying for it is a dumb place to continuously get hung up, yet Trump continues to trot it out.
