Bama loses, Reece Davis a Bama grad having to be on stage with Clemson, and Dabo thanks God multiple times in antiGod country. What a time to be alive!

He went a little overboard with it if we're being honest.

At 72, you have no idea how much watching these primadonnas get it handed to them backed up with a thank you God!
Long live the orange Tigers!

God wouldnt help ppl win football games because god wouldn’t play favorites
If he did he would be a worthless god for picking some who believes in him over another that believes in him
Y’all know nothing about religion

I don’t care for Clemson, but tonight was a good night, we need more people giving thanks to God in a spotlight

Dumbest post ever?

Dabo is just as phony as Hugh Freeze and Ted Haggard.
Can't believe so many are falling for his God-fearin'-Country-boy schtick.

Anti-God country?
You’re seriously stupid.
FWIW, if he wants to thank a man made diety that’s his choice. He might as well have thanked the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Guess God did not want Bama to win?!?!
I appreciate the statements giving God the praise. Having said that, my opinion is anyone that thinks God cares about the winner of a football game for one team v. the other is just wrong. If they mean to say they are blessed to be playing a game and that everyone remained healthy after the game, I get it. One thing I have never heard is someone in a postgame interview on one of these big games suggesting glory to God after they lost. Tua did not last night and Dabo did not when they lost to Bama last year (at least not that I heard).
I do love the fact that the 3 QBs all openly profess their faith. Tebow took a lot of heat for that years ago and now it is hardly mentioned because it’s no longer out of the norm. Pretty awesome.

So many people keep asking how did Clemson do this? It’s not like they have better recruiting classes than many of us. But what I saw was a team that had faith they could do it and believed it!!! Dabo makes this such a big part of their program...to have faith in yourself and in God. Saban has never thanked God once for a NC. Not once.
