Hard to disagree.

LSU and Clemson have swapped places since that game.

Hopefully the fiesta bowl was or will be LSU’s turning point.

We’ve got to take advantage of this opportunity we have in front of us. We need to take Bama down while they’re at their lowest. We play them every year, and are a division rival. I really think Burrow and this offense may be legit next year and the defense will be very good as always. I think a lot of the defense will return and not go pro

It is hard to disagree, unfortunately.

Yep both in terms of fanbase AND Death Valley. Clemson are the true Tigers. 2011 was the last time LSU was a powerhouse.

I always felt it was the turning point for both programs. I recall being destitute over the loss. Living in Carolina watching the other Death Valley ascend to new heights is difficult.

LSU has so many chances to win that game. Taji boyd completed a 4th and 16 or something on the last drive to help set up the GW field goal.

To use a wrestling analogy. It feels like we are Test from the WWF and Clemson is Triple H. Keep on rising and rising while we stay in the middle to lower rank segment.

I think Dabo has said that as well.

Dabo has said this exact thing. He said beating a program of the stature of LSU put them on the map and proved they could play with the big boys.

I was at the game that night and it just seems that it has shifted since then. Sad to say.

This. I live in SC and was at that game. Clemson never looked back. I’m hoping we have turned the corner now. I’m tired of Clemson AND Bama...who knows, we might see Clemson in the playoffs.

It's true, but it also shows how quickly a trajectory can change.

Clemson was patient with Dabo and now he has them rolling. HIs faith in himself and his process has paid off.

There's no reason that can't be us (again) someday.

Yep. Said it to my wife about 30 seconds before herbie. So true. We were the better team but they had something.
