Venables is no better than Aranda. Clemson's defense is good though

Clemson's D is getting done! Are their athletes that much better than LSU's or is Venables scheming superior to Aranda? Should Aranda be able to do more with less if he is that much of a mastermind?

Nope. Problem is that LSU doesn't have a freaking offense to keep the defense off the field. We held Bama to 9 for most of the first half, and with constant 3 and outs, the defense was just on the field way too much.

That and Clemson has the best DL in the country.

Here’s your stats comparison between Aranda and your Venables for their entire careers as DCs.

Aranda
308.2 yards per game allowed
17.5 ppg allowed

Venables
321.9 ypg allowed
19.5 ppg allowed

Now take your stupid agenda and stick it you know where you phony.

Have you noticed the offense he has to relieve his defense?

How far apart do you think their salaries are?

Not as far as you think.

2.3 vs 2.5 and Venables just made 105K in incentives.

All things considered, LSU's defense far outperformed Clemson's in the first half when you consider Clemson's offensive TOP and score.

By early in the 3rd quarter, Clemson was so far up that they knew what Bama was going to do.

Two far different games. LSU's defense, by all accounts should have only been down by 9 at half.
